Locstat Cs app for iPhone and iPad

Locstat Cx Reporter is a community crime reporting app available for iOS enabled smartphones. Locstat Cx uses your phone’s internet connection (4G/3G/2G/EDGE or Wi-Fi, as available) to allow you to report a crime or crime related incident that has occurred in your community.

By reporting suspicious activity, actual or attempted criminal incidents, and receiving the products generated from your data inputs, you and your community will realise greater safety and security as the community and the security providers who service your community will achieve Information Dominance over your community. Locstat-Enabled Communities and Locstat-Enabled Security Providers can, by using data, now adopt a pro-active approach to preventing and fighting crime.

Send as much information on the incident as possible through our reporting taxonomy of inputs. Upload vehicle details, images and add context and free-text descriptions.

Your report will go into our database and be seen in the real-time interface, as it is published.

WHAT IS LOCSTAT CX?

Locstat is an innovative crime prevention system that empowers communities and security companies to deal effectively and efficiently with their crime situation. This real-time, online service incorporates crime incident reporting, analysis and visualisation in a geospatial environment to provide accurate assessment and interpretation of incidents, crime patterns, trends and vulnerabilities. Contextual data can be layered in, providing perspective. Through our Locstat Patroller App, assets can be tracked in real-time, adding to this perspective and engendering a Command and Control (C2) capability. Through the use of data, Locstat establishes the foundation for an effective pro-active security model to flourish. Locstat-enabled communities experience game-changing capabilities through the use of our dynamic products and services.

WHO CAN USE LOCSTAT CX?

Anyone can download Locstat Cx, but you will be required to register with your local community-security organisation, i.e. your Neighbourhood Watch in order for you to access and use the app and to have access to the products and services generated through Locstat.

TERMS and CONDITIONS (T&Cs):

During registration you should download and importantly read the Locstat T&Cs. These are there to protect yourself and your community. You cannot register without agreeing to our T&Cs. Keep a copy and look for updates. Read the updates if / when they come through.

CAN I CHAT, DISCUSS SOCIAL NEWS OR COUNCIL PROBLEMS?

No. Locstat Cx is a niche crime incident reporting service, by design. You will not be bothered by advertising and we don’t work on getting as many downloads as we can.

HOW DO I USE IT?

If you have been using a smartphone and apps previously, you will find it is very intuitive and easy to use. Once registered, you will also have access to our Locstat User Guide which will take you through everything, step-by-step.

REGISTRATION:

If you are not already registered as a Locstat member, click on ‘Register’ and complete the necessary fields. Your application will be verified by Locstat, confirming that you are an approved member of the selected community. Be responsible, accurate and honest in your reporting.

LOGGING IN:

Once registered, you use the same username (your email address) and password (you choose this) which you used when you registered, to log-in to the app.
